ANDOVER, MA : Bradford teen killed in crash on I-495 on Sunday, 23rd September 2018

A Bradford teen was killed in a crash on Interstate 495 in Andover just after midnight Sunday, state police said.

Katie Ramirez, 19, was driving north on I-495 when her 2013 Honda Accord drove off the left side of the road and crashed in the wooded median just south of Exit 41, police said. It was not immediately clear what caused Ramirez's vehicle to leave the road.

Responding state troopers found Ramirez unresponsive at the scene and began CPR. She was taken to Lawrence General Hospital by the Andover Fire Department, where she was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation by the state police.
