Harris,IA : Two teens dead after cars crash head-on in Harrison County, Iowa on August, Friday 18th 2017

Two teenagers were killed when the cars they were driving slammed into each other head-on late Friday in Harrison County, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 10:45 p.m. on Highway 30 near Niagara Trail, between Logan and Missouri Valley, the Iowa State Patrol said.

Cody A. Wills, 18, of Logan was driving east in a 2013 Ford Focus that crossed the highway’s center line and struck a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, the patrol said.

Wills and the driver of the Eclipse, Syler J. Haase, 16, of Missouri Valley, died at Missouri Valley Hospital, the patrol said.
