Lee ,NH : 51-year-old Melanie Guptill killed after ejected from Car near Wheelwright Pond on Thursday ,April 30 2015

Lee police said a woman from Barrington died a crash on Route 125 Thursday. The crash shut down the road near Wheelwright Pond for three hours.

Police identified the victim as 51-year-old Melanie Guptill. Police tell News 9 that she was ejected from the car and pronounced dead on the scene.

The single car crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. Investigators said Guptill's car veered into oncoming traffic and hit a stone slope, causing the car to roll over several times.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
