Vado, NM : Woman, 4-year-old daughter killed in a two-vehicle collision in southern Dona Ana County on Monday, Oct 19, 2015

Authorities say a woman and her young daughter were killed in a two-vehicle collision in southern Dona Ana County.

New Mexico State Police said 38-year-old Cruz Decerra and 4-year-old Allison Decerra were killed Monday when their vehicle ran a stop sign at an intersection south of Vado and collided with another vehicle.

State Police said neither victim was wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
