BROOKPORT, IL : Brookport Bridge Back Open After Crash on Monday, 4th March 2024

The U.S. 45 "Brookport" Bridge is back open after a three-vehicle crash closed the bridge late Monday afternoon.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 reported the bridge closed down just before 5 p.m. on Monday due to a head-on collision.

Motorist at the time were urgeded to detour using I-24 over the Ohio River.

Injuries in the crash are unknown at this time.
