Osterburg,PA : Osterburg woman hurt in crash on August, Sunday 6th 2017

A Bedford County woman was taken to a hospital early Sunday after her vehicle crashed on William Penn Road in Kimmel Township, state police said.

Tina M. Flegal, 55, of Osterburg, apparently fell asleep at the wheel shortly after 7 a.m. and her Chevrolet SUV struck a utility pole, investigators said.

The vehicle continued back onto the road and existed the southbound lane, striking a fence.

Flegal sustained minor chest and hand injuries and was taken to UPMC Bedford for treatment, police said.
