Stone County, AR : 1 killed, 2 injured in vehicle collision on Highway 5 north of Allison Sunday afternoon, April 2, 2017

One woman was killed and two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Stone County.

Dorothy Fore, 79, of Gepp died following the crash, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash happened on Highway 5 just north of Allison about 2:45 p.m.

According to ASP, a 2011 Chevy Impala was heading north while a 2008 Lexus was heading south.

The Impala reportedly crossed the center line and struck the Lexus.

Fore, a passenger in the Chevy, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Allen Phroper.

The driver of the Impala, 78-year-old Lawrence Fore, also of Gepp, and the Lexus driver, 74-year-old Lavada Byrn of Cypress, TX, were taken to hospitals in Mountain View and Batesville with undisclosed injuries.
