CLERMONT COUNTY, OH: 5 dead, 1 critically injured after crash in southwest Ohio on Sunday, 6th October 2024
Five people are dead and one is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in Clermont County early Sunday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:45 a.m. on state Route 28 at Edenton Pleasant Plain Road in Goshen Township.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Chrysler 300, driven by 25-year-old Mathew Penny, was heading northeast on Route 28 when he hit a Subaru Legacy, driven by 43-year-old Dustin McDole. McDole was heading northwest on Edenton Pleasant Plain Road, attempting to cross Route 28, at the time.
