Upper Pittsgrove TWP, NJ : Unidentified woman flown to hospital after head-on crash early Saturday morning on September 6, 2014

An unidentified woman was flown to the hospital early Saturday morning after hitting a tree head-on with her vehicle on Buck Road. At about 2 a.m., the woman was traveling southbound on Buck Road near the intersection of U.S. Route 40 when, for unknown reasons, crossed over into the other lane, striking several mailboxes, and ultimately hitting the tree head-on, police said. The woman sustained "more than moderate injuries," authorities said. Police were unable to provide the type of vehicle the woman was driving, saying only that it was a "black compact car." The woman was flown to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, in Chester, Pennsylvania, where she is considered in stable condition. No further information could be provided at this time.
