Delafield, WI : One person killed, 1 injured when car hits tree in the City of Delafield on Sunday afternoon, February 7, 2016

One person was killed and another injured when their car struck a tree in the City of Delafield Sunday afternoon.

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, while the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Delafield police.

The accident happened around 12:20 p.m. on Milwaukee St. at Garrison Court. The names and genders of the victims were not released Sunday afternoon by authorities.
