Louisiville, KY: 36-year-old Minerva Driver Died in fatal Stark County crash on Wednesday Night on state Route 153- 22nd October 2014
Police say alcohol is a suspected factor in a fatal Stark County crash that claimed the life of a 36-year-old Minerva man late Wednesday night.
Kenneth Williams was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Meese Road near state Route 153 in Nimishillen Township.
He had been ejected from the vehicle.
The Canton Post of the Highway Patrol says Williams was driving a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon southbound on Meese Road when he traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle then hit several trees before coming to rest.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m.
Authorities say Williams was not wearing a seat belt.
The incident remains under investigation.
