SHREVEPORT, LA : 1 arrested after high speed chase, crash in Shreveport on Tuesday, 21st May 2024

One person is in custody after a high speed chase in Shreveport.

The Shreveport Police Department says on Thursday, May 23 around 12:20 p.m., a chase started near the intersection of E 70th Street and Fern Avenue after officers tried to pull over a stolen car. The driver refused to stop, police say. That chase ended with the suspect crashing their vehicle near the Walmart on Youree Drive, south of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
