Savannah, GA : Georgia TV anchor dies in crash near South Carolina bridge early Sunday, November 20, 2016
A southeast Georgia television station says a news anchorman was killed in a car crash on a highway in South Carolina.
WTOC-TV in Savannah said in a statement that Don Logana died early Sunday. The Savannah Morning News reports police say the head-on crash involved a blue pick-up truck and red four-door vehicle near the South Carolina side of Talmadge Bridge.
No other injuries were reported.
Logana was the weekday morning anchor at WTOC. With more than 12 years of experience, he covered news in the Savannah/Hilton Head market.

Logana began his career at WIXT-TV in his hometown of Syracuse, New York.
WTOC vice president-general manager Larry Silbermann says everyone at the station is “deeply saddened” by Logana’s death.
