Trumann police say a man hit by a car Wednesday morning has died.

Jerry Lee Collins, 26, of Trumann was crossing Highway 463 in front of Country Mart just after 6 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle, according to Lt. Lenny Baker.

It appeared Collins was crossing the road in the turn lane when he was struck.

Becker said the driver was on the way to work when the crash occurred.

No foul play is suspected.
