Columbia, SC : 2 killed in 2-vehicle crash on SC 391 on Thursday, January 26th 2017

Two were killed in a 2-car crash that injured a third person Thursday afternoon.

The two victims, whose identities have not been identified, were traveling in a 1992 Dodge pickup truck and traveling south on SC 391 when it drove left of center and crashed into a 2008 Chevy pickup traveling north on the same roadway.

The two occupants of the Dodge pickup were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the Chevy pickup was flown to a nearby hospital and his condition is unknown. He was also wearing a seatbelt.

The accident happened 1 mile north of Batesburg-Leesville.
