SAN MATEO, FL : 2 people killed, 1 seriously injured in crash on SR-100 in San Mateo area of Putnam County on Thursday, 14th March 2019

Two people are dead and one man was seriously injured in a crash involving a semi-truck in the San Mateo area of Putnam County on Wednesday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP was called to the scene on State Road-100 at 12:45 p.m.

The crash happened when a semi-truck and another large truck similar to a semi crashed head-on, according to troopers.
