ELLSWORTH, WI : Bay City man hurt in motorcyle crash on Tuesday, July 4, 2017

A Bay City man was flown to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with injuries suffered in a motorcycle-pickup truck crash Tuesday in Pierce County.

Christopher J. Majors, 28, was injured in the accident, which was reported at 7:07 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the Pierce County sheriff’s office, Majors was driving a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on 170th Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign at Highway C. Majors collided with a southbound 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Sandra L. Swenson, 54, Ellsworth.

Majors was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken by ambulance to the Red Wing, Minn., airport for transfer to the hospital.

Swenson was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
