One dead, one injured in motorcycle crash.

One person is dead and another with critical injuries after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle Friday afternoonThe Illinois State Police said two people were riding on a Harley-Davidson on US 6 near Illinois 84 when a car driven by an 81 year old Colona woman turned in front of itThe motorcycle driver was not able to stop in time and struck the car in the passenger side and were thrown.The driver of the Harley died at the scene. The passenger was flown to Peoria Hospital in critical condition. The names of the riders are not being released at this time. The driver of the car is being charged with making an improper turn.
