Gainesville, FL : Two Hampton men were killed on May, Thursday, 18th 2017

Two Hampton men were killed Thursday evening in Bradford County when their trucks collided head-on, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.

Raymond Eddie Austin, 47, and Michael Chad Raulerson, 26, died in the crash.

The crash happened at 6:20 p.m. on County Road 18 and Southeast 38th Avenue, according to an FHP news release. Austin was driving a 1999 Chevrolet truck west on CR 18 while Raulerson was driving a 1998 Chevrolet truck east.

For unknown reasons, Austin steered into the eastbound lane and hit Raulerson’s vehicle head-on, according to FHP.
