Salina,UT : Deputy’s truck damaged in wreck on March, Tuesday 20th 2018
A pair of vehicles, including a Sevier County Sheriff’s Office truck, were damaged in an accident in Salina March 13.
The accident occurred as Deputy Mark Crane, 44, was driving a 2017 Ram 1500 north on State Street through the intersection at 100 South. As the truck he was driving entered the intersection, a 2005 GMC driven by Debra Sorensen, 47, Salina, turned directly in front of Crane’s vehicle, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Crane was able to slow down, but was unable to avoid the collision and smashed into the side of GMC, according to the UHP.
Crane and Sorensen were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, and no injuries were reported.
