CHATTAROY, WA : US-2 closed due to fatal crash in Chattaroy on Wednesday, 2nd August 2023

A two-car crash in Chattaroy resulted in at least one fatality Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. on US-2 near Bailey Road, north of Spokane. At this time, the number of victims and extent of injuries is unknown. Washington State Patrol troopers are on scene investigating.

US-2 is closed near Bailey Rd. Detours are in place, but WSP advises driver to avoid the area and expect long delays.
