Moorhead,IA : Man seriously injured in Monona County ATV crash on SATURday, August 5, 2017

A 37-year-old Moorhead man is in critical condition after an all-terrain vehicle crash Saturday evening.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Dustin M. Solberg was driving a Honda ATV and following another Honda ATV being driven by Derrick Steffan of Modale, and the duo were traveling southbound at the intersection of Plum Avenue and 280th Street northeast of Moorhead.

Soldberg was following Steffan's ATV too closely and the front wheels of his ATV came into contact with the rear wheels of the ATV Steffan was driving. In response, Soldberg over-corrected his vehicle and rolled it.

He was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha with what the state patrol described as a “serious personal injury” in its report.
