Charlotte, NC : Stolen car crashes into apartment in north Charlotte on Monday, February 23, 2015

Three people, two of whom are juveniles, were taken into custody after a vehicle police say was stolen crashed into a north Charlotte apartment.
The incident happened around 3:45 p.m. at an apartment complex on Catherine Simmons Avenue near Beatties Ford Road. Police say the car was stolen about an hour before the crash.
Officers told WBTV that four people were in the vehicle at the time of the wreck. They say when the driver saw police, he lost control of the car and slammed into the apartment. Three people, including two juveniles, were taken into custody. One person ran away from the scene.
From WBTV's Sky 3 the white, four-door Acura could be seen halfway into one of the units where, it appeared, the door and a window once were.
Police say a family was inside the apartment at the time. They were relocated by apartment management.
Medic confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Police have not released any names or said what charges are being filed.
