EAST PEORIA, IL : EP chess team unhurt in school bus crash on Interstate 74 on Saturday, 11th January, 2020

A school bus carrying members of the East Peoria Community High School chess team was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 74 on Saturday night.

No one was injured among the 14 passengers, according to the Illinois State Police.

The accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. westbound at milepost 142. The students were returning from an event in Champaign.
