A 71-year-old Punta Gorda man died when his three-wheeled motorcycle crashed this weekend in Charlotte County.
William Kempf was driving south on Taylor Road near the intersection with County Road 765 (Burnt Store Road) about 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol reported. Kempt tried to turn right onto the county road but lost control, overturning the vehicle on its left side, state police said.
The motorcycle slid into in a ditch and came to a final rest, FHP reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
