Visalia, CA : Teen dies in car crash in Visalia on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019

An unidentified 18-year old has been killed in a traffic accident in the city of Visalia.

According to investigators at around 1:40 Tuesday afternoon a silver Dodge sedan was traveling southbound on Akers Street north of Caldwell in the number one lane when the driver lost control and hit a tree in the center median.

The teenage driver was pronounced dead at the scene, A female juvenile who was in the car with the driver was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. Speed does not appear to be a factor.
