Mora,MN : Cambridge woman dies in head-on crash on November, Wednesday 8th 2017

A Cambridge woman died after her car crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a pickup truck in southwest Pine County Wednesday, Nov. 8.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report, at approximately 10 a.m., Amy Marie Freund, 42, of Cambridge was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix west on Highway 70 in Royalton Township when the crash occurred. Freund crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram headed east.

The driver of the truck was Alexandra Trach, 24, of Forest Lake. She was taken to Wyoming Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both women were wearing their seatbelts.
