Decatur, AR : Woman and minor died and another four people injured after a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 102 in western Benton County on Monday morning, February 29, 2016

Two people are dead following a head-on crash in western Benton County, according to Arkansas State Police.

Police have identified the victims as 38-year-old Shawna Brady of Rogers and a minor, whose name has not yet been released.

The accident happened on Arkansas 102, east of Decatur. According to a report from state police, the driver of one vehicle, 38-year-old Shawn Hemphill of Decatur, crossed over the center line and struck the van driven by Brady. Brady had four passengers in her car: 50-year-old Robert Downs and three minors.

Hemphill and Downs were transported to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. The other two minors were also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
