Fountain, CO : 1 killed in crash near the Pikes Peak International Raceway exit on Sunday, 12th January, 2020

One person was killed Sunday night after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 south of Fountain.

The crash was reported just after 8 p.m. Sunday near the Pikes Peak International Raceway exit. One of the drivers died at the scene. Colorado State Patrol confirmed the surviving driver was a state trooper.

The trooper was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle after the collision.
