Oakland, MI : Woman is in critical condition another was sustained minor injuries after a collision during a traffic stop at Interstate 75 in Hazel Park On Sunday May 8th, 2016

Michigan State police say a trooper is in good condition and a woman is in critical condition after a collision during a traffic stop.

Police say the crash occurred on Interstate 75 in Hazel Park, north of Detroit. The trooper had pulled over a car about 1:30 a.m. Sunday and was arresting the driver on a warrant. The trooper had placed the driver in his cruiser and was standing

outside with the female passenger.

Police say another car rear-ended the police cruiser and rolled over it. The cruiser struck the trooper and the female passenger was struck by the other car.

The man who was arrested is in good condition. Police say the driver of the other vehicle was not injured while a passenger in that car sustained minor injuries.
