DOWS, IA : One person has died and three others injured in a crash south of Dows on Sunday, August 20, 2017

No names had been released yet by the Iowa State Patrol. The crash was reported about 4:40 a.m. on Interstate 35 in the southbound lanes two miles south of Dows.

One of the injured was air-lifted to Mayo Clinic-St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Another went by ambulance to Hansen Family Hospital in Falls, while the third refused treatment.
