STATEN ISLAND, NY : An accident on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge on Sunday, 20th May 2018

An accident on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge caused traffic Sunday night, according to traffic maps.

A spokesman for the FDNY said emergency personnel responded to a minor accident around 8:15 p.m., and that no injuries were reported.

Emergency radio transmissions indicated the incident happened on the upper level of the Brooklyn-bound side of the bridge.
