Buffalo, NY : A Clarence woman died from injuries she suffered in an all-terrain vehicle accident on Sunday, May 28, 2017

A Clarence woman died from injuries she suffered in an all-terrain vehicle accident Sunday in the Cattaraugus County town of Yorkshire.

Dawn Krol, 33, of 4990 Alexander Drive, was injured when the ATV she was driving tipped over and rolled onto her at about 7:14 p.m. Sunday at 10788 Eastland Road, said Cattauraugus County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nathan Root. Krol was transported by ambulance to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and was later transferred to Erie County Medical Center.

Root said ECMC notified the sheriff's office Monday morning that Krol had died from her injuries.

Krol was riding on trails with friends when the accident occurred, Root said.
