New Orleans, LA : Motorcyclist dies in Harvey crash on Monday night, August 8, 2016

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office was investigating a fatal crash Monday night (Aug. 8) in Harvey.

Sheriff Newell Normand said that at 9 p.m., a man driving a motorcycle northbound on the 1000 block of Orange Blossom Lane hit another vehicle traveling southbound, according to a JPSO spokesman. The unidentified man died in the head-on crash, and authorities said the unidentified woman driving the car was uninjured.

Authorities have yet to determine a cause of the crash, JPSO said.
