A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was nearly hit by a car while he assisted another driver near Ormond Beach, FHP spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said Tuesday. Trooper Cody Brown, 20, dodged a silver 2006 Chrysler 300 traveling southbound on Interstate 95 by diving between his patrol car and a semi-truck.
