BIRMINGHAM, AL : 1 dead, 1 injured after car crashes into B’ham fire station on Tuesday, 6th February 2024

Authorities are investigating after two victims were shot in Birmingham Tuesday night.

Truman Fitzgerald with the Birmingham Police Department stated that around 6:40 p.m., dispatchers received calls of a car that crashed into Fire Station 30 at Springville Road.

Officers arrived on the scene and observed a vehicle that collided with a fire station bay door. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service transported an adult man and woman from the scene to UAB Hospital’s emergency room. The male victim, 33-year-old Colby Cade, was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The adult woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
