A Chevrolet S-10 is loaded onto a tow truck after it was involved in an accident on U.S. Highway 20 Monday morning. Iowa State Patrol Trooper Paul Gardner said the S-10, driven by Joshua Seiser, of Webster City, was westbound on Highway 20 at Taylor Avenue. At the same time, a 15-year-old girl, whose name Gardner said he was unable to reveal, was southbound on Taylor Avenue. Gardner said the teen stopped at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Seiser's vehicle, causing the two to collide. Seiser, who received what Gardner described as 'incapacitating injuries,' was taken to Trinity Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. However, Gardner said Seiser's injuries were not life-threatening and he was being flown to Des Moines for treatment. The 15-year-old was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Gardner added the incident is under investigation. The Webster County
Sheriff's Department and Duncombe Fire Department also responded to the scene.
