CHEROKEE COUNTY, AL : Cherokee Co. man killed in single-vehicle crash on Friday, 2nd August 2024

A man from Centre, Alabama was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday evening, According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) .

The crash occurred on Cherokee County 28, approximately nine miles east of Piedmont, in Cherokee County.

Police say 59-year-old Scott F. Wade was fatally injured when his all terrain vehicle (ATV) left the roadway and struck an embankment.

Wade was thrown from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
