Two people are in the hospital following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on the east side of Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon.
According to Colorado Springs Police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Austin Bluffs and Beverly at around 3:15 p.m. Both directions of Austin Bluffs were shut down in the area for multiple hours, but the roadway was reopened by 7:15 p.m.
Officers said two people were injured in the crash, a motorcyclist and one person from the vehicle, and that both of those people were taken to the hospital. No information about the extent of the person in the vehicle’s injuries was available as of this article’s last update, but police did say the motorcyclist’s injuries were “life-threatening”.
