Motorcycle procession honors officer killed in crash

Dozens of police officers joined a motorcycle procession to pay tribute to their fallen brother Wednesday night.

Plymouth Police Officer Greg Maloney died Tuesday evening after falling from his motorcycle. Eyewitnesses say Maloney’s bike continued rolling around 500 feet down the highway after he fell.

Maloney was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He was a 17-year veteran with the department.

He leaves behind a wife and two teenage sons.

Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
