Kahalu, HI : 63-year-old pedestrian in critical condition after motor vehicle collision in Kahalu on Thursday, 26th November, 2020

On Thursday at about 8:25 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred in the Kahalu'u area involving a pedestrian.


A Nissan pickup truck operated by a 30-year-old man, was traveling Kaneohe bound on Kamehameha Highway, fronting the Hygienic store when it struck a female pedestrian.


The operator of the Nissan truck was not injured and remained at the scene.


The 63-year-old female pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk. She was treated and transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
