Waynesville, MO : No injuries reported in bus accident on Missouri Avenue on the overpass Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016

No injuries were reported in a minor bus accident at approximately 7:45 Tuesday morning, according to a press release from Waynesville School District. The accident happened on the bus' regular route in St. Robert and no damages were reported to either vehicle.

The district reported that "Bus Route 82 was on Missouri Avenue on the overpass near the Kum and Go when it bumped the rear of a vehicle. The incident occurred at a very low speed and no injuries were reported at the scene."

Additionally, the district said, in its press release that, "as a precautionary measure, the preschool students will be evaluated by a school nurse at Williams Early Childhood Center when the students arrive at school."

Parents of the students who were on the bus have been notified, according to the press release.
