PIKE TWP, IN : A two-vehicle crash in Fulton County on Monday, May 29, 2017
Members of an Adrian family were injured Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Fulton County, Ohio.
Jeffrey A. Jameson, 39, who is the Lenawee Christian School director of marketing; his wife, Nicole, 39; and their four children were driving south on State Route 109 near County Road K at 11 a.m. when their Honda Odyssey minivan was struck by a westbound Ford F-250 pickup driven by Jasin Wise, 24, of Liberty Center, Ohio, according to a report released today, May 30, by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to the report, Wise failed to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign and struck Jameson’s vehicle. Both vehicles went off the roadway, coming to rest in a field.
Wise was uninjured. Nicole Jameson sustained minor injuries, and was treated and released at the scene. Jeff Jameson was injured, but no official word was available at press time whether he was hospitalized. Two of their children, ages 8 and 9, were uninjured. Two of the children, ages 3 and 4 received serious injuries. The 3-year-old was transported to Fulton County Health Center and the 4- year-old was taken by Life Flight to Mercy St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. All occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts and in age-appropriate safety seats, according to the news release.
Alcohol is not a factor in the crash, and the crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
