Milwaukee, WI : Deputy hurt in freeway crash on southbound I-894 near Lincoln Ave. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014

A Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy was slightly injured Tuesday when his squad was rear-ended on the freeway, a sheriff's official said. The squad was struck shortly before 3:30 p.m. on southbound I-894 near Lincoln Ave., sheriff's office spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin said. The deputy declined to be taken to a hospital and the left lane of southbound I-894 was shut down until shortly after 4 p.m., McLaughlin said.
