EAST PEORIA, IL : Woman crashes car into OSF Urgo location in East Peoria on Sunday, 8th December, 2019
A 22-year-old woman drove her vehicle into an OSF Urgo location in the East Peoria Levee District on Sunday morning.
Police say she reported feeling ill and crashed her car through the front of the OSF site at 133 Spinder Drive in East Peoria at 8:18 a.m. No one inside the building was injured.
The driver was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
“Shortly after opening for the day Sunday, a car crashed through the front door of the OSF Urgo location in the East Peoria Levee District,” OSF spokesman Shelli Dankoff said. “We are thankful no patients or any of the six OSF mission partners in the building at the time were injured. The building has been secured and cleaned up. The East Peoria Urgo location will be closed today, Dec. 8, but will reopen Monday, Dec. 9, at 8 a.m. Other OSF urgent care locations are open for those needing care.”
