Billings, MT : Roberts woman taken by helicopter from Carbon County crash on Monday, 22nd August, 2016

A Roberts woman was taken by helicopter to a Billings hospital on Monday morning after she crashed into a utility truck on Highway 421, said Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Shane Warehime.

Montana Highway Patrol was called to the crash a little before 9 a.m., where they found the woman semi-conscious, Warehime said.

The woman was driving south in a Nissan Titan pickup when it appears she crossed the road's center line, striking a Ford F550 utility truck, which was heading north, Warehime said. The crash happened just before the county line into Stillwater County, near mile marker nine.

A medical helicopter was called to take the woman to the hospital, Warehime said.

The Laurel man driving the utility truck did not need medical attention.
