Four people have been injured, three seriously, in a two-car crash on Cape Cod.
Authorities say the crash occurred at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday in Barnstable near the intersection of Osterville-West Barnstable Road and Route 28.
Regional fire officials say one car struck the other car broadside, and three people in one of the cars have potentially life-threatening injuries.
Barnstable police Officer Michael Lounsbury tells the Cape Cod Times two 20-year-old women were taken by helicopter to Boston Medical Center where he said they were in stable condition. A man in the same car was taken to South Shore Medical Center.
A man in the second car was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
