Oklahoma City, OK : One person in custody after hit-and-run, carjacking on Wednesday July 23rd 2014
Oklahoma City police say a person is in custody after a hit-and-run accident and carjacking.
According to Sgt. Gary Knight, two cars collided on Interstate 44 near Southwest 74th. One of the drivers got out of the car and told the other driver that he had a small child who was injured and asked for the other driver's help.
When that driver went to lend aid the first driver jumped into the other person's car and fled. A witness saw the suspect take the car and followed the driver.
The suspect then caused the witnesses to crash near I-44 and Southwest 59th and then crashed himself. He is now in custody.
It is not known whether anyone was injured in any of the crashes.
