Quincy, IL : Pleasant Hill man was killed in a three vehicle crash at 48th and Columbus Road On Friday, July 22nd, 2016

A Pike County man was ticketed after a crash at 48th and Columbus Road damaged three vehicles Friday.

Fred D. Ruble, 52, of Pleasant Hill, was driving south on 48th Street at Columbus Road at 7:52 a.m. According to the Adams County Sheriff's Department, Ruble was unable to stop the Kenworth Model w900 truck he was

driving and struck the rear of a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Scott J. Reinold, 45, of Quincy. Reinold had stopped at the intersection, and the crash pushed his pickup into a third vehicle that was not identified in the accident report.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report. No injuries were reported.
