WICHITA, KS : Woman injured after car crashes into bank near Pawnee and Hydraulic on Tuesday, 17th October 2023

A woman was taken to a local hospital in serious condition following a Tuesday evening crash in which a car ran into a bank near Pawnee and Hydraulic in south Wichita. The woman was driving the car.

A 12 News photojournalist at the scene captured an image of the car stopped just inside the lobby after crashing through glass at the front of the Emprise Bank location.

On the call, reported a little after 7 p.m., witnesses said the car hit two vehicles before jumping a curb and crashing into the front of the bank. The woman driving the car told witnesses she passed out.
